アメリカがジーンズを作業着として愛されてきたのであれば、ヨーロッパはモールスキンを作業着として愛着されたと考えます。どちらも藍の美しい経年変化が見られ、今では街中でも様々な古着などをみる事が出来ます。それは経年変化の美しさや、生地の丈夫さが時代を超えて愛される素材なんだと私は考えます。COTTLEパンツはアメリカの無骨なジーンズに使われる、ミシンを自社でのヴィンテージ縫製を活かし、ヨーロッパの細やかなステッチワークを参考にして、オリジナルのパンツを制作しています。モールスキンとはモグラの肌と呼ばれ心地よい肌触りが特徴です。オリジナル生地に浅葱藍を施し長く着込むと身体に馴染み天然染色の風合いが増して、自分だけの一着に育ちます。また白蝶貝の釦に、陶器などを補修する「金継ぎ」と呼ばれる技法で金を施した金継ぎ釦が付きます。

How do you ship packages from Japan to overseas?

Normally, we use the international mail service (EMS).
